Plans go in for second phase of Fleet development

Plans for the second phase of a housing development have been submitted.

Kaplan Property Group’s scheme to build 55 homes on land near 50 Fleet Road, Fleet, was approved by planners at South Holland District Council in October last year.

Now the firm has submitted an application for the second phase of 25 homes.

Access to this second phase, which is bordered by residential properties and agricultural land, will run through the first phase.

The previous scheme included a mix of rented and shared ownership properties and one, two, three and four-bed homes.

These plans, which were opposed by nearby residents, will involve knocking down 50 Fleet Road to provide access.
