Applegate Homes plans to build nine two-storey dwellings at Fleet Road, Fleet Hargate approved by South Holland District Council
Plans to build nine two-storey properties have been approved.
Applegate Homes had applied to construct the dwellings on land at Fleet Road, Fleet Hargate - and South Holland District Council has given its seal of approval.
Conditions state that the work must begin within three years of permission being granted.
Two plots are planned to be constructed in red brickwork with a natural slate roof.
A planning report says: "The remaining properties should preferably be red brickwork with either a natural/artificial slate or terracotta pantiled roof to reflect traditional vernacular and the site's location within Fleet Hargate Conservation Area."
Conditions also state that the southern boundary of the site should be delineated by a 1.8 metre high close-boarded fence, with 300mm trellising above, before any dwelling is occupied.
An amendment was made to original plans ensuring that a refuse collection point will be moved to coincide with the end of the adopted road.
