Plans to convert agricultural buildings into 10 homes at Shepeau Stow
Barn conversion plans to create 10 homes have been submitted.
Applicant Mr A. Dickens hopes to transform agricultural buildings at Shepeau Stow into dwellings.
“The application site is located at Orchard Farm, Dowsdale Bank on the south-eastern side of the highway,” the design and access statement prepared by agent Swan Edwards Architecture explained.
“The impacts of the proposed development on the surrounding area and the contribution it will make to Shepeau Stow have also been considered.
“Dowsdale Bank has already got a large number of residential buildings located in the vicinity of the site, both heading north-east towards Shepeau Stow as well as continuing down the road in the south-west direction.”
Drawings show buildings would be subdivided, a terrace of six properties and four further dwellings forming a square.
The statement added that no proposed home would have a floor area of more than 100m².
It added that the buildings proposed to be converted currently share the access with the farm, ‘although separate parking accesses and parking spaces can be provided.’
The plans have been submitted to South Holland District Council.
