Police and ambulance on scene after A16 collision involving motorhome and car at Kirton

Emergency services attended a road traffic collision involving a motorhome and a car yesterday.

The incident caused tailbacks on the southbound carriage of the A16 yesterday (September 24) afternoon.

A police van and two ambulances attended the scene.

“We were called to a collision involving a car and a motorhome on Middlegate Road at around 4pm,” a Lincolnshire Police statement read.

“This was a minor injury collision, which didn’t block the road.

“The car was later recovered.”
