A17 Long Sutton collision - police plea for witnesses and dashcam footage




Police are asking for the public's help for more information about a three-vehicle collision on the A17 in Long Sutton.

It involved a red and green Mercedes HGV, a red Peugeot 207 and a black Volkswagen Touran which were in collision near the A17/A1101 roundabout at 1pm yesterday (Wednesday, December 16).

The driver of the Touran, a man aged in his 30s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries, while the Peugeot driver was also taken to hospital, but with minor injuries.

The road was closed for at least nine hours and a Lincolnshire Police spokesman said it re-opened at about 10pm.

Anyone who saw the collision, anyone with dashcam footage or drivers who were travelling along the A17 from Sutton Bridge and may have seen or recorded footage of the Touran (registration number VK05 NDF) on the A17 is asked to call the police on 101.
