Spalding police investigating after man injured in town centre
Police cordoned off parts of Spalding town centre after a man was assaulted over the weekend.
A man in his 30s was treated for serious facial injuries, not thought to be life threatening, following an assault in New Road at 2.05am on Sunday morning.
Police had put in place a cordon at the junction of Broad Street and New Road while investigations took place.

A spokesman said: "We believe four men and a woman may have been involved. Investigations are ongoing and we would like to hear from anyone with any information."
