Police tackle road safety offences in Crowland, Cowbit, Surfleet and Spalding after residents raise concerns
Police officers had a crackdown on road safety offences across the district after residents raised concerns.
The South Holland Neighbourhood Policing Team and PCSOs visited Crowland, Cowbit, Surfleet and areas of Spalding, today (Wednesday, January 29) after some residents raised concerns.
Some vehicles were seized and some people were issued a summons to court as a number of traffic offences were witnessed.
A spokesperson for the police said: “Our team is dedicated to delivering the South Holland policing plan and fatal five/road safety is one area of this plan.
“These days of action allow us to target areas where our communities raise concern. Residents in these areas were happy to see us.
“We will continue to plan these days across the South Holland district.”
We have approached the police for further comment.
