Lincolnshire Police called to hare coursers in Surfleet




Police ‘deployed numerous resources’ to reports of hare coursers over the weekend.

Officers were called to Surfleet area yesterday morning (Sunday, August 26) and no arrests were made.

A social media post from the force’s Rural Crime Action Team states: “We have deployed numerous resources to the area following recent events in response to the unacceptable dangerous driving, among other offences that has previously been seen these past few weeks.

“When we catch you will be arrested, your belongings will be seized, your dog will be seized and you will be finding your own way home on this cold day.

“Our message will never change ‘Not in our county’.”
