Police follow ‘number of lines of enquiry’ into Monkshouse barn fire

Police say they are ‘following a number of lines of enquiry’ into a barn fire.

Firefighters were called just after 5pm on Sunday, March 30, following an incident at the old Monkshouse Bulb Company building in Spalding.

Emergency services blocked the town road to allow four crews to tackle the significant fire by using an aerial ladder platform.

There have been no arrests made but the investigation is still ongoing.

A spokesperson for the police has said the investigating officer is ‘following a number of lines of enquiries’.

Earlier this week officers were appealing for anyone with mobile phone, CCTV or dashcam footage from the area to get in touch.
