Holbeach police tackling poor parking around school

Police have been cracking down on inappropriate parking around a town school this afternoon.

South Holland Neighbourhood Police Team were on patrol around Holbeach Primary Academy today and asked a motorist parked on the double yellow lines to move on.

Officers have been tackling issues about parking around a number of schools over the last month.

A South Holland Police post stated: "Patrolled outside Holbeach Primary Academy this afternoon.

"One car moved off the double yellows at the top of Chestnut Avenue. No one on the zig- zags.

"A vehicle hit another car in Chestnut Avenue and drove off without exchanging details."
