Police searched Spalding street after receiving report of an assault

Police officers were seen searching a Spalding street following a report of an assault.

Emergency services were called to Fairview Way in Spalding last night.

A force spokesman said: “Just after 5pm officers were called to Fairview Way in Spalding after a member of the public reported seeing a man assaulting a woman.

“Officers attended and searched the local area but could not locate anyone thought to have been involved and did not have a clear description of either party.”
