Residents have raised frustrations that action was not taken before the matter was escalated to yesterday’s incident.

Police are now asking for witnesses to get in contact.

A force spokesman said: “Our officers are investigating the incident and have been speaking with people today. Their inquiries include locating any available CCTV, speaking to witnesses and establishing what evidence is available.”

“We are looking for the help of those who witnessed the incident and would ask anyone who hasn’t called in already to do so or contact the Investigating Officer by email at holbeachandsuttons@lincs.police.uk”

The man is accused of smashing the Co-op window by smashing a rock during the incident which was reported at 4.14pm.
