South Holland police warning over closure of Holbeach road

Drivers are warned not to use a Holbeach road after it has been shut due to emergency roadworks.

Penny Hill Road, between the A17 and Tolls Lane, closed yesterday due to a drainage problem.

South Holland Police are warning motorists to find an alternative route.

A police Facebook post said: "Penny Hill Road, Holbeach still closed between the A17 and Tolls Lane - full closure, please don't attempt to pass the "Road Closed" signs - if you do you'll need to find somewhere to turn around...the road is not expected to re-open until at least tomorrow."
