Sgt Cliff Fairhurst, Neighbourhood Policing Team, South Holland, has welcomed the sentencing.

He said: “It’s pretty clear that he has no respect for his previous disqualification. Anyone that drives while disqualified will have no insurance cover and they are happy to disregard the safety of others.

"I hope he has time to consider his actions.

“Our communities tell us road safety is really important to them and we are listening. As a force it is one of our top priorities too.

"We work hard to keep the roads in South Holland safe and will carry on targeting those who break the law and show disregard for others on the roads.”
