A popular cat show will return this weekend at Springfields Events Centre in Spalding




A popular international show, which flies in judges from across the world, will return to the area for a fourth year this weekend.

The TiCats and Cakes cat show will be back for feline fanatics on Saturday, June 29 and Sunday, June 30 at Springfields Events Centre in Spalding, between 10am and 4pm.

Visitors can expect to see hands on judging of more than 100 pedigree and non pedigree cats, who will all be competing for various titles.

Some of the breeds which attended at last year’s show featured, American Curl, Bengal, British Longhair, Persian, Oriental Shorthair, Maine Coon, Ragdoll, Siamese, Sphynx and lots more.

The ‘Feline Fine In The Summertime’ show will include an agility project for cats to test their nimble skills. There will also be a range of vendors and business stalls, including Jackalope Joe Coffee Co, Happy Kitty Blankets, TT Luxury Cat Towers, Percy and Pye, Little Munchies UK and many more.

Attendees can enjoy learning facts about each breed in the ‘meet the breeds’ section and don’t miss the litter robot raffle.

The judges invited for this year's show include, Laura Cunningham and Laurie Patton from the USA, Steven Corneille from France, Amy Stadter from Germany and Maria Bunina from the UK.

Prizes for the ‘Best In Show’ will be awarded on Sunday afternoon. The onsite restaurant will be providing hot and cold food for attendees on both days and this year will also include a barbecue on site.

Tickets can be purchased on the door and cost £5 for adults, £3 for senior citizens and children under 16 can attend for free.
