Popular exercise session returns to Spalding-based Welland Seniors Forum

A health session will be back by popular demand at the next meeting of the Welland Seniors Forum.

Bekki Loveridge from Adults Move will be in attendance to provide some sitting and standing exercises for the group.

“Bekki had been before for a part session and everyone said they enjoyed it, so we have asked her back to run the whole session,” said forum chairman Tim Barzycki.

The next meeting of the Welland Seniors Forum will take place on Tuesday, May 21 at the United Reformed Church, Pinchbeck Road, Spalding.

It will begin at 2pm.

The previous meeting was attended by 39 people who heard from Age UK Lincoln and South Lincolnshire about Energy saving measures and a project for memory loss called I Forget.

The group was also given a donation of £1,000 from the estate of a long standing former member.

The group meets on a regular cycle on the third Tuesday every other month and is open to anyone aged 55 or over.

Membership is free and a hot drink and biscuits are provided.

Anyone interested can attend on the day or visit www.wellandseniorsforum.org.uk for more information.
