Poundland 'would love to come to Spalding'

Bargain retailer Poundland says it is interested in opening a store in Spalding.

There have been a number of rumours that the chain store is looking to move into the town - especially following the departure of the likes of Beales, M&S Simply Food and the upcoming closure of the Winsover Road branch of B&M.

A Poundland spokesman confirmed the company is interested in the town - but did not say which, if any, locations are currently being explored.
