Power cut disrupted operations at Holbeach surgery

A power cut disrupted a medical centre.

Littlebury Medical Centre, in Holbeach, provided additional clinics for patients after losing power on Monday morning.

A spokesman for Lincolnshire Integrated Care Board said: “Littlebury Medical Centre did experience a power cut on Monday morning between 8.20am-09.10am, however, the practice remained open for enquiries, disruption was minimal and most patients were seen as soon as the power was restored.

“Practice staff greeted patients as they arrived in the car park to advise them of the situation. The practice also provided additional clinics that day to ensure all patients with booked appointments were seen that same day if they wished.”
