Kirton Primary School scoop three titles at Education Today Awards 2022

Kirton Primary School was top of the class at the Education Today School Awards 2022, claiming three titles.

It was named Primary School of the Year and Creative School of the Year, while Nicky Donley was announced as Headteacher of the Year, Kirton winning all three awards it was shortlisted for.

Judges called the learning centre a ‘school which thinks outside the box to achieve great teaching and learning through creative, innovative programmes’.

The news comes after a successful 2022 for the school - which scooped Primary School of the Year award at the Spalding Guardian and Lincolnshire Free Press Education Awards.

The ceremony, hosted by comedian Hal Cruttenden, was held at London’s Riverbank Park Plaza Hotel.
