Pinchbeck's The Bull Inn forced to close due to flooding, with Kelly Close and Brownlow Crescent badly hit
A pub was closed for a few hours after being hit by flash floods.
Heavy rain has led to a number of streets in Pinchbeck being affected - and The Bull Inn will not reopen until 6pm tonight.
Staff and friends spent last night sweeping the pub, with floods coming in through the front door and heading towards the women's toilets.
It didn't reach the bar itself, but the carpets will require cleaning.
Cameron Cope, who is the partner of owner Emily Chappell, said: "It's the worst rainstorm I've ever experienced around here.
"At one point I didn't know what we were going to do, because it just kept coming down and coming down.
"I'm glad it stopped. We just thought it was going to get worse and worse and worse.
"We ended up putting lots of beer crates and boxes of beer in front of the door."
However, Mr Cope added that the pub wasn't hit as badly as other places in the village.
We have received accounts of flooding at Kelly Close, while Brownlow Crescent has also reportedly been hit badly.
A village resident told us that pumps are being used at some locations to drain as much water and prevent it from going into houses.
