New Chinese restaurant at The Wheatsheaf Inn in Moulton Chapel

A village pub is re-opening its doors tonight… as a Chinese restaurant.

The Wheatsheaf Inn at Moulton Chapel has been closed for some time.

But tonight it is back in business - with the same name but a very different menu.

“It’s a traditional (Chinese) restaurant and our chef is very professional, so you won’t be disappointed,” said owner Yvonne Hong, who is no stranger to the business.

“We had restaurants before. This is our first time in this area, before we were in London.

“Our chef has 25 years of experience.”

Yvonne admitted there had been local interest with villagers ‘popping in’ to see when the Wheatsheaf would be opening its doors once again.

The new restaurant will be open Tuesdays-Sundays, from 5pm-10pm.
