Holbeach field suddenly surrounded by steel fencing - but why?

Questions are being asked as to why steel fencing has appeared around land off the A17 in Holbeach.

A section of land off Hurn Road, near its junction with Washway Road, is now surrounded by the fencing, although a current planning application is not in place for the site.

Coun Nick Worth, South Holland District Council member for Holbeach Hurn ward, said: "There is a massive amount of fencing going all around this site and I have had concerns expressed to me by residents about what may, or may not be going on the site.

"We will have to wait until we see a planning application."
