British Westerns Association set up camp at Anglia Motel in Fleet for spring round-up
The British Westerners Association set up camp at The Anglia Motel in Fleet, where they took part in traditional western activities, games and dancing.
One of the most popular events of the round-up, which was attended by 100 people, was the fast draw, where participants can test their reflexes by seeing who can draw and fire their gun the fastest.
This is split into three sections, Fanning, Thumb busting and the BWA Maverick Open, each of which was won by Andrew Barrett for this event.
Other activities included archery, shooting, knife throwing, axe throwing, roping, horse shoes and throwing arrows.
Chairman Mark Firth, said: “What a great weekend I think we all had, seeing old friends and having a good time, the weather on the whole was on our side albeit a wee bit cold at times, but we survived, and from peoples comments everyone enjoyed it.
“It was really good seeing the next generations having a good time, and heres to our next one in August.”
The children had their own version of the games, as well as an Easter egg hunt. Live entertainment on the Saturday night was provided by Cole Jackson.
