Pinchbeck quizzers put thinking caps on to raise money for Spalding Flower Parade

Quiz lovers had the chance to test their general knowledge and raise some cash for next year’s Spalding Flower Festival.

Friday night’s fundraiser saw teams of six battle it out to see who were the biggest brainboxes at Pinchbeck Church Hall.

And the event proved a hit with £438 raised towards the parade.

“David Mustoe, who organsied it, said it was one of the best ones they’ve had,” said Flower parade organiser Stephen Timewell.

“It was great. It was a normal pub quiz type event for teams of six… and it was a lot of fun.”
