Holbeach Ladies' Night with male strippers to raise cash for two good causes
A racy night out featuring four male strippers will raise money for two good causes.
Fundraising friends Kristine Smith and Natasha Boyton hope to repeat the success of their first Ladies’ Night last year when around £3,700 was shared by Macmillan Cancer Support and the Youth Cancer Trust.
This time the funds will go to Holbeach in Bloom and to The Marines Charity.
As well as male strippers, the fundraising duo have booked a comedy drag act and the female audience can enjoy the sight of some buff male waiters.
A Royal Marine, Sam Fowler, who set up Royals Gym helped out at as a volunteer waiter at the event last year and will do so again this year, which is why the friends opted to support The Marines Charity.
Kristine said: “We also wanted to support a local charity, which is why we have chosen Holbeach in Bloom.”
The second event is back by popular demand because ladies who attended last year were asking for a repeat because the so enjoyed the night.
Local businesses are supporting the event and have generously donated prizes for the raffle.
There are packages for Spalding nightclub XO, as well as the town’s Alley Catz bowling alley, gift vouchers for various shops in Holbeach, and bingo treats for venues in Boston and Spalding.
The Ladies’ Night will be held at Holbeach United Services Club in Church Street on Saturday, September 21. Doors open at 7pm for an 8pm start - £20 tickets are available from Kristine on 07834 999096 or Let’s Get You Moving, also in Church Street.
