LETTER: Is Spalding area really the worst place to live?

After reading the national papers they state that Rushmoor, Hampshire is the happiest place to live but South Holland in Lincolnshire is the worst.

It makes you wonder why our area is rated as the worst?

Driving into town, you experience the state of the roads, which also are the worst in the country.

You go into Spalding town centre for shopping and see it is slowly becoming all east European and charity shops.

You nearly getting run over by people on bikes and there is also street drinking, empty and derelict buildings and a major lack of police.

What is there to make people smile? I’m sure someone out there will tell us. Has South Holland become the forgotten district of the country?

Very sad.
