Zen Space in Spalding attracted record numbers to this year’s Zenfest
Participants came away feeling zen after attending an annual festival, which had a ‘record’ number of visitors.
The Zen Space in Spalding welcomed people of all ages to take part in a ‘Zenfest’ wellness event, which took place on Saturday June 29.
People could enjoy browsing through the array of vendors from businesses in the area, taster sessions and guest speakers.
Organiser and member of the Zen Space team, Bekki Loveridge said: “We had a record amount of people at Zenfest and a mixture of all ages which was nice to see. Our youngest was 20 and the eldest was 72.
“Lots of people said how incredibly thankful they were that we put on such an event and a couple of ladies felt quite emotional by some of the stories people were opening up about, sharing such topics which hit home.
“The whole team was so overwhelmed with all of the positivity from vendors, helpers and all of the people who attended. I know that everyone was really happy to have such a range of activities to keep them busy and the sunshine was so amazing.
“We received lots of positive feedback from people saying how zen they felt afterwards. The event has been going for a number of years and for the next one, we are hoping to do it on the same day as international yoga day and the summer solstice.”
Some of the stall holders for this event included Community Mind Matters, The Mindful Doula, Sarah Marks Hypnotherapy, MamaBare, Tarot Readings with Louise Hallian, State 11, Fenland Natural Health, Suzie Bakes Cakes and more.
