Police investiagting reports of man approaching students outside University Academy Holbeach

Police are investigating after two reports of a man approaching students outside a school.

A safeguarding alert sent to parents of students at University Academy Holbeach reads: "We have had reports today of a man approaching students on Park Road and another at Tesco in Holbeach before school.

"The incidents have been reported to the police and no-one was harmed. Please continue to speak to your child/children about the importance of keeping safe when travelling to and from school, of not engaging with strangers and if possible walking with others.

"If your child feels unsafe at any point, he or she can call 999 for assistance. If you have concerns about this, please contact the school."

The incident comes two days after reports of a student being 'physically confronted' near the school.
