Reunited after nearly 60 years




We are continuing our review of 2019 by looking back at some of the stories which featured in the Lincolnshire Free Press.

In September, former South Holland District Councillor Angie Harrison was devastated when she lost her seat in this year’s elections, but now she’s a Slimming World consultant.

The owners of two businesses could not believe what they were seeing after a bizarre ‘orb’ was caught overnight on a security camera. The strange floating ‘orb’ was caught on CCTV at the aptly named Strange Apparitions at Baytree Garden Centre in Weston.

A South Holland family who grew up believing their mother was no longer alive were reunited with her after nearly 60 years. Margaret Inglis (86), is in touch once again with her children Dave (64) and Ian Inglis (58), Diana Chapman (63) and Lizzie Oliver (61).

Stanley Jackson, a World War II veteran from Spalding, laughed his way through to the age of 100.
