South Holland and the Deepings MP Sir John Hayes shows off skills to promote volunteer campaign

South Holland and the Deepings’ Conservative MP Sir John Hayes showed off his ball skills as a special guest at Spalding United’s Sir Halley Stewart Playing Field on Saturday.

The right winger was in attendance to help raise awareness of the Pitching In programme which highlights the importance of volunteers to non-league clubs.

The Tulips are currently on the lookout for a volunteer matchday announcer.

Pitching In sponsors the Trident Leagues, which includes the Northern Premier League, where United play.
