Sails will return to Moulton Mill next year
Volunteers have been busy revamping the sails at Moulton Mill – which are due to be hung back on the prominent landmark next year.
Supporters of Moulton Mill have been adding new skins onto the sails during the summer and builders will be returning in March to hang them.
Standing at 100ft high to the top of the cap, Moulton Mill is the tallest windmill in the country and was saved thanks to a £2million restoration project.
The mill’s tearooms remain open – but an appeal has been put out for more volunteers to come forward and support the historic building.
Chairman Geoff Hoare said: “We have reskinned all of the sails.
“We are always looking for new volunteers to help in the tea rooms and with other jobs.”
