Annual St George's Day Parade in Tydd St Mary

Although the numbers were smaller than in normal years, pupils at Tydd St Mary Primary School made plenty of noise during their annual St George's Day Parade today (Friday).

Because of Covid-19 restrictions, only one bubble – Kingfishers, who play in the Samba band – paraded around the village with school dragon Cedric (our dragon), and 'St George'.

Parents and neighbours waved and clapped from their windows as the school took its first tentative steps back to becoming part of the wider community again.
