Second arrest made in investigation into assault of two boys in Spalding

A further man has been arrested as part of an investigation into the assault of two teenage boys.

The youngsters suffered serious injuries as a result of the incident which took place outside Aldi in Winsover Road, Spalding.

Police have been appealing for help in identifying two men and can now confirm that a second arrest has been made.

A force statement said: “A 31-year-old man has been arrested on two counts of suspicion of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm. He remains in police custody.”

Officers announced yesterday (Monday, June 10) that a 34-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm. He has been released on bail while inquiries are ongoing.
