Lincoln magistrates to decide on whether to close Spalding and Holbeach shops

Three shops could be forced to shut if magistrates grant a closure order later today.

Applications to close Nasza Biedronka and Easy Shop, both in Spalding, along with Holbeach Market, in the town’s High Street, are due to be heard by Lincoln Magistrates later today.

The application to shut the three shops is being applied for under the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 after notice was served yesterday (Tuesday, April 2), the court documents state.

Nasza Biedronka is in Sheep Market while Easy Shop is based in Station Street.

The application is being brought by Lincolnshire Trading Standards and the police.
