Four men and two boys arrested on suspicion of hare coursing in Crowland and West Pinchbeck
Six people - including two boys - have been arrested on suspicion of hare coursing.
Police were called to Deeping High Bank in the Crowland area this morning (Wednesday, October 9) after receiving reports of suspicious behaviour.
A gold coloured Mercedes was later stopped in West Pinchbeck.
A force social media post stated: “The four men and two boys were stopped in a vehicle after we received reports of suspicious activity in the Deeping High Bank, Crowland area, around 7.30am today.
“Officers from our Rural Crime Action Team (RCAT) deployed to the area and later stopped the vehicle, a gold coloured Mercedes, at Beach Bank, West Pinchbeck, Spalding.
“Four men and two boys have been arrested on suspicion of going equipped for searching for or pursuing hares. They remain in custody. We have also seized two long dogs found in the vehicle.”
