Smiles all round at the Raw Equine Dog show in Spalding
A well supported dog show brought smiles and fun in the sun for Mother’s Day.
The Raw Equine Equestrian Centre in Spalding welcomed mums, families and most importantly, pooches, for its popular event at the weekend.
Owners were able to put their four legged friends forward for classes such as the waggiest tail, most handsome dog, child’s best friend and many more.
All dogs received a rosette for attending and visitors were able to enjoy refreshments including doughnuts and coffee, provided by Coffeebeans.
Leading The Way was also at the event selling dog coats, and photographer GRG was on hand to snap moments throughout the day.
Event organiser Sara Raw said: “It was a really good day and we were so lucky with the weather – it was amazing.
“People were able to show off their dogs in the fun classes, which are stress free and not strict.
“Our shows prove to be a great way for people to socialise their canines and make new friends – we couldn’t have asked for anything to have been better.
“We were able to raise a good amount of money which will go towards the riding school, including the animals who are given to us because they have been mistreated or need care.
“We would be interested in businesses getting in touch for future events as we want to support local business owners at these kinds of events.”
The Raw Equine Centre will also be hosting a clear round jumping and Easter fancy dress event on Friday, April 18, at 11am.
