Holbeach DC Sports Academy puts on successful soccer camp
Children and coaches had a ball during a half-term football camp.
DC Sports Academy business partners Dan Lester and Callum Lawe and their team enjoyed working with nearly 100 youngsters over two days during the camp in Holbeach.
Unfortunately the third date had to be cancelled due to Storm Eunice, but youngsters will not be missing out as further dates will be added at Easter.
Children aged between five and 14, enjoyed drills, shooting practice and communication work after a fun warm-up (see pictures).
They also had the opportunity to take part in mini tournaments and even took on the pressure of a penalty shoot-out.
Mr Lester said: “The camps went really well and the kids loved it.
“We have had amazing feedback from parents and carers.”
The team is working with Holbeach United Community Sports Academy to offer new qualifications for the area’s 16-19-year-olds.
Up to 30 boys went along to take part in an open day earlier in the week.
