A commercial property solicitor at a Spalding company has revealed her pride at being promoted to Partner in Charge.

She is responsible for staff welfare as well as advising on problem files and is the link between the board of directors and staff in the Broad Street office.

Rebecca deals with all types of commercial property matters, including the sale and purchase of freehold property, new leases and the assignment of leases, acting for management companies and dealing with secured finance.

She is also deputy clerk of the Spalding Town Husbands charity and the Spalding Relief in Need charity which own and manage 71 almshouses in the area and make grants to individuals upon application via the CAB.

Rebecca said: “I grew up here and attended the Spalding High before studying law at Nottingham Trent University. I wanted to return to Spalding as soon as I could and was delighted to return to Chattertons to complete my training in 2016. It’s a great place to live and I’m surrounded by family and friends.

“Over the years I have worked in almost every office within Chattertons, and I’m delighted to be made Partner in Charge at a company committed to modernisation and that constantly strives to provide the best service possible for clients.

“As well as agricultural ties, Spalding has a thriving high street with many independent shops. I would urge shop owners to consider reviewing or renewing their leases if they haven't done so, as it is very easy to get caught out.

"There has also been significant growth in the technology and food industries locally, and I am also looking forward to continuing to work with larger companies in order to ensure that they continue to be successful.

“I’m here to help and love meeting up with local people, to discuss and solve any issues for local businesses and for both commercial landlords or tenants. It’s best to discuss matters before hidden pitfalls come to light.”

Rebecca is also very proud of the recent success of the residential conveyancing team at Spalding with Laura Collins being promoted to Associate Conveyancing Executive. Laura is well known for her efficient approach and has built a great reputation in Spalding. She is also pleased to announce that Rebecca Coombes has recently joined the residential team at Spalding, working alongside Laura, offering clients her expertise in new build and leasehold transactions.

Chattertons Solicitors & Wealth Management also has offices in Boston, Bourne, Grantham, Horncastle, Lincoln, London, Newark, Sleaford and Stamford. They provide legal and wealth management services with a focus on professionalism, efficiency and building great relationships with their clients.
