It will be the second festival organised by the Going Forward Social Group at The Priory School, Spalding.

Company representatives Victoria Herd and Sandra Wallace attended the group's meeting in Spalding on Thursday, delighting founders Rita Stacey and Alyson Commons as well as the members.

Alyson said: "We really appreciate Dalehead's support as we have been working hard for nearly a year to raise enough money to put on this year’s festival."

Building on last year's success, the second festival takes place from midday-7pm on July 27.

Alyson said: "This event is aimed at people of all ages with both physical and learning disabilities along with their families and carers.

"It gives them the opportunity to enjoy an event in a safe and non-judgmental environment.

"This year information stalls and ‘have a go’ sessions will be available, alongside local bands and a specialised changing facility supplied by Mobiloo.

"Anyone with a disability is welcome to join us and tickets are available from our new website: www.goingforwardsocialgroup.co.uk which also has details of our group and all the activities we do."

Going Forward is for people aged 16 to 40 years, and was formed in May 2016 by parents of young adults with physical and/or learning disabilities. The group has grown from five to 20 plus members over its first three years.
