Spalding Rotary is back with its big quiz

The Rotary Club of Spalding and Welland is inviting teams to sign up for its second big quiz of the year.

Rotarian Peter Atkinson says quizzers can enjoy baked potatoes with a choice of fillings, included in the £7.50 per person ticket price, and every penny raised will go to local Rotary charities.

He said: "The prizes for the winning team will be 'plonk' so I think most people should appreciate that."

The quiz takes place at St Norbert's Church Hall, in St Thomas's Road, Spalding, on Thursday, September 6.

Doors open at 6.30pm for a 7pm start.

Rotary is seeking teams up to a maximum of six people.

The questionmaster on the night will be Barry Elliott, who has hosted previous quiz nights for the club including most recent one in May.
