Spalding woman could face prison for stealing gin
A Spalding woman, who admitted stealing three bottles of gin, could face custody after a judge heard she was already on a suspended prison sentence imposed for dishonesty just four months ago.
Teresa Jane Wilson (47), of Double Street, admitted stealing the gin, worth £59, from Aldi in Spalding on November 6.
However, when District Judge Peter Veits, sitting at Boston Magistrates' Court, heard that she was subject to a suspended prison sentence imposed for burglary and theft by Lincoln Crown Court in July, he sent her on unconditional bail to the crown court for sentence on a date to be notified.
