Pinchbeck's Something Special set to open in Birchgrove Garden Centre

A Pinchbeck garden centre is preparing to reopen its coffee shop thanks to the team behind a popular village cafe.

Shoppers at Birchgrove Garden Centre have been without a facility since B’s Cafe closed down during the Covid pandemic.

But from Wednesday, July 13, the coffee shop area will come alive again as husband and wife Carl and Sally Woods and their daughter Beth bring Something Special to the site.

Something Special coffee shop has become hugely popular since opening in Pinchbeck’s Knight Street in 2018 - so much so that at busy times customers have had to be turned away due to lack of space.

The team jumped at the chance to be able to cater to even more customers in the larger coffee shop area, including outdoor patio, at Birchgrove.

They will be open from 9.30am to 4pm Monday to Saturday, except Tuesdays (closed), and 10am to 3.30pm on Sunday.

They will continue to offer delicious drinks, homemade cakes, snacks and light lunches. Afternoon teas are also available but need to be pre-booked by calling 01775 527890.

Sally said: “After a difficult couple of years due to Covid and lockdowns, this move to Birchgrove is the start of an exciting new chapter for Something Special.

“Since opening in Pinchbeck we have been overwhelmed by the support we have received and we want all our customers to know how grateful we are.

“We now look forward to seeing all of those customers at our new premises, as well as getting to know lots of new faces who drop in for something to eat and drink while shopping at Birchgrove.”
