Stretch of A17 at Wyberton closed after collision between HGV and car

A busy road has been closed following an collision between an HGV and a car.

Police are currently on the scene at the Boardsides in Wyberton.

A Lincolnshire Police statement said: “We are on scene at a serious collision between an HGV and a car on the A17 at Boardsides, Wyberton Fen, reported at 9.53pm.

“Road closures are being put in place, please avoid the area.

“We don't know the extent of the damage or injuries at this time and will update when we can.”
