Spalding High School and Spalding Grammar School pupils arrive at their prom in style
A quadricycle, a carriage and a tractor brought well-dressed students to their prom last week.
Year 11 students from Spalding High School and Spalding Grammar School celebrated the end of their GCSEs in style during the prom on Friday night.
Stylish students arrived at the event at Springfields Event and Conference Centre in a wide range of cars, a Land Rover and the Rock Bus even made an appearance.
Spalding High School head of year 11 Eva Spinks said: “It was lovely to see the Year 11s coming together to celebrate the end of their exams. They all looked fantastic, and a great evening was had by everyone.”
Four teenagers manned a quadricycle which pulled two friends in a trailer while another youngster drove herself in a pony and carriage.
One lucky pupil even had her own ‘cheerleading squad’ as our pictures show. These are all available for purchase at the photos.iliffemedia.co.uk website.
Youngsters from the two schools went onto enjoy a meal and music at the event.
Mrs E V Donnelly, head of Year 11 at Spalding Grammar School said: “I was proud to see the boys off for the last time as their Head of Year, together with other colleagues who could join the celebration.
“I would like to take the opportunity to say thank you to them for being such a great cohort to work with and wish them best of luck for the future! I can't wait to see some of them back at the school as the new Sixth Form in September,”
