Holbeach's Littlebury Medical Centre say their phone lines are being blocked by people asking for the COVID vaccination

A Holbeach surgery says its phone lines have been blocked today by people asking for the COVID vaccination.

Littlebury Medical Centre says it has not received either vaccine and is asking people to keep its phone lines free for patients with urgent medical issues.

The NHS is remaining tightlipped over plans for vaccinating

We have had a huge amount of patients call in today to ask for or book their covid vaccine. This is blocking the phone line for patients with urgent issues.

Please do not call the surgery. We have not had any vaccines delivered and no date for delivery. The over 80 age group, care home residents and carers will be done first when we have access to vaccines. We will invite you in when its your turn. Thank you.
