"Twice today, our clinical team have been subject to verbal abuse from patients coming in for routine monitoring of their long term conditions.

"We are here to help and support you. We have a zero tolerance policy. Listening to this abuse is completely unacceptable and patients who are doing this risk being removed from our practice list.

"Please treat our staff with respect. Thank you."
