Sweet response to new Spalding store

An artisan chocolatier has been pleased with the response since opening his town centre shop.

Niall Holland officially opened Wicked Temper in The Crescent, Spalding, on Saturday - which has gone down well with shoppers.

This store had been empty for some time but it has been stylishly decorated to host some of Niall’s amazing creations.

Chef Niall was inspired to start making his own chocolates by his mum Louise during the covid lockdown and went onto launch Wicked Temper. He enjoys experimenting with different flavours and styles.

He said of the grand opening: “It has gone really well and we’ve had a good response.

“Everyone has been happy with the store and say it was something that Spalding needed. No-one has been negative.”

Niall received the keys for the shop on February 18 and since then has been decorating the site with help from his parents.

The site will be open Tuesday to Saturday, from 9.30am to 4pm.

Wicked Temper will also have stalls at the Lincolnshire Makers Market and Burghley Spring Market in May.
