If you wanted to take to the skies like 95-year-old glider pilot Neville, then here is your chance.

Entry is free and will include a discount of flights and vouchers, a glider simulator, variety of gliders on display, barbecue, refreshments and a surprise flying attraction.

After a pre-flight briefing, attendees will be strapped into the glider with an instructor. The glider is attached to another aircraft, which will tow you into the sky.

Once the cable is released, you search out some thermals and then gently glide back down to earth. The length of the flight itself will vary according to weather conditions, but is likely to be around 15 to 25 minutes.

The club has more than 50 active flying members and it is situated five miles from Spalding and a couple miles north of Crowland.

For more information contact the club by calling the clubhouse on 01733 210463.
