Spalding St John's School, Weston Hills Primary along with Spalding Beaver Scouts and Girls Brigade
A decade of beaver scouting in Lincolnshire was celebrated during a big party in Spalding in 1994.
The Castle Sports Complex played host to the party which was attended by hundreds of youngsters.
Beavers from all over south Lincolnshire enjoyed a clown act and a sing song.
Youngsters also enjoyed tucking into a specially made birthday cake to celebrate the 10th anniversary of beaver scouting in the county.
Everyone who attended had a fantastic time and enthusastically joined in with the activities.
While hard work was recognised in the annual Spalding Girls Brigade Awards service.
Young leaders Kay Smith, Carol Fairbrother, Natalie Bright and Deborah Hughes received their Brigadier Brooch.
Kay and Carol wer e also promoted to grade three leadership trainees.
While in 2009, youngsters from St John the Baptist School in Spalding celebrated receiving £2,603 worth of sporting and cookery equipment.
The Hawthorn Bank school secured the haul in 2009after collecting more Sainsbury’s Active Kids tokens than any other school in the area.
Excited pupils were presented with the new equipment during a special assembly.
Youngsters later had fun trying out some of the new equipment to staff from the Sainsbury’s store in Spalding.
Pupils at Weston Hills Primary School had a busy time with a visting author and a shoe drive during one week in 2009.
Steve Wetherill went into the school to with with children on an interactive workshop using books and a selection of props.
Youngsters also brought in old shoes to donate to Shoe Aid for Africa.
