Pinchbeck's Suflower Lodge Childcare named Pre-school of the year

A Pinchbeck nursery is on a roll after scooping the Pre-School of the Year title following an outstanding Ofsted report.

Sunflower Lodge Childcare owners Becky Evans and Lisa Oddie are over the moon to have won the title - with the latter watching the ceremony via facetime while on holiday.

The nursery had received numerous nominations by parents and carers who praised the team for the fun environment and the wide range of experiences offered to children.

Becky said: "This is the icing on the cake.

"The volume of nominations we received is amazing. This has validated all the hard work we do.

"All credit has to go to the whole team at Sunflower. It is a team effort."

Gemma Benton praised the owners for their hard work.

Contract manager at Riverside Training Finlay Bulbeck presented the award to the Sunflower Team.

Runners-up were Rainbow Nursery, in Long Sutton, and Smartie Pants Nursery, of Sutton Bridge.
